Durham-based North East artist, Jon Old, is inspired by the North East landscape, especially the coastline where he lived for 30 years. A freelance artist specialising in oil paintings, Jon's hard edged realism style continues to develop as can be viewed in his collections. His works - in all forms - are highly accessible and appealing to all who appreciate figurative painting.

All Giclée prints come with an archival backing board and premium clear print bag. This allows you to choose your own framing which can be a very personal decision. Individual Greetings Cards are supplied with a premium recycled fleck kraft envelope, together with a high-clarity quality cello bag. See individual paintings listed in the shop.
I'm so pleased to have been able to buy one of Jon's paintings. I love his style and muted tones, especially in the seaside works. They exude a wonderful sense of atmosphere, movement and serenity.
My home is now complete with two of Jon's seascape paintings adorning the wall of my lounge!
