Storm Passing, Roker, Sunderland

I started painting this painting after I left college and I’ve reworked it a number of times. Its quite a personal painting as its about light coming after the storm and the importance of having an ice cream while you can. The painting is more painterly than others of mine to reflect the lack of permanence.
 
Canvas size 20” x 30”.
Oil on canvas unvarnished, Artists prepared cotton duck canvas.
